    Location

    I didn't like the attitude of the hotel staff after my airpods headphones were stolen from my room. In the morning I left them in my backpack, which was in my room, the headphones were no longer there at night. At first I thought I'd put them somewhere else, but no, I searched the whole room - no headphones. I reported to the reception that the headphones were missing - in response I was told that the cleaning service with which they work - they have 7 years, we will certainly check, but no one could steal anything. But the fact remains that they were in their backpack and then disappeared. No apology, nothing was said. Days passed - nobody came and said anything about the results, only the day before the departure I went to the reception desk myself and asked - did you manage to find out something? I was also told with a smile that they didn't doubt the honesty of their service and maybe the headphones were in the bed linen, which was taken off and maybe sent to the laundry. Once again she said that the headphones were in the backpack and not on the bed - she said, "Well, we can call the police if you want. I am able to buy myself new headphones, but waiting for such an attitude from an expensive hotel is extremely unpleasant. This is the first time in my life when something was stolen from my room and there were worse hotels and worse stars. No one apologized, showing that they were to blame. Extremely unpleasant, so hide everything in the safe, including the headphones. Also about the queue for breakfast I want to say - you could have worked through the system - if the big queue - bring food to the rooms, but waiting for 20-30 minutes for breakfast is not solid for a hotel of this level. I would also like people at reception to talk about the fact that there is no furniture on the terrace and that it should be requested separately.

    The Mandala provided a spacious Management Suite with a lovely modern decor and excellent amenities. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from Potsdamer Platz. The staff were attentive and catered to my work needs efficiently.

    Could improve breakfast options for business travelers.

    It was a very very good stay for 12 nights over the Christmas and New Years holidays, would recommend this place. The location was best possible - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. There was a really nice restaurant, a shopping mall and the Christmas market next door.

    Spacious room with a lovely kitchenette and private balcony. The breakfast options could use improvement and had long wait times. Great location near Potsdamer Platz, easy access for walking tours.

    The Mandala hotel is excellent. It is just in front of the Sony Center in Postdam Platz. The neighborhood is great, lots of restaurants nearby, movie theatres, train station at the corner. You can walk to the Branderbourg gate or the Reichstad in 10 minutes, very nice walk. You can see the Berlin wall at the hotel corner. The room was a small suite for 2 people, it had a huge bathroom with bathtub, robes and slippers were provided. Very nice toiletries also. You have a small kitchen with a fridge, and a coffee machine. They provide tea, coffee, cacao and cream for free. You have a walking closet for your clothes and bag. Also a huge desk to work if you need to. Wireless internet is for free. You have a small resting area like a living room with a coach and flat screen tv. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel has ac. Really this is a very nice hotel, excellent for Europe standards were all rooms and bathrooms are tiny. This is a real 4 star hotel, very modern with excellent staff. We did not have the breakfast option at the hotel because we considered it a little expensive. There is a Dunking Donuts just in front or a Starbucks nearby. I can really recommend this hotel, no doubt. The price of 115 euros a night was really very reasonable. I stayed there 4 nights in July 2011.

    No complaints the hotel and staff are excellent.

    Cleanliness issues evident in the bathrooms!!! Noise from the street disrupted sleep, and temperature control difficulties. The gym facilities lack basic amenities like a bathroom and phone!!!

    Superb hotel in a great location. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every aspect of our stay was excellent.
